How to Back Up and Sync Glucose Data

Create an account, sync supported records, and move your Glucose history to another iPhone.

An account gives supported records a path between devices. Some preferences remain local and may need to be set up again.

  1. Create or sign in to an account

Open Settings and choose Login/Signup to Sync Data. Create an account with your email address and password, or sign in to an existing account.

  2. Allow the first sync to finish

Keep Glucose open and connected to the internet while the first sync completes. Pull down on History if you need to request another sync.

  3. Sign in on the new device

Install Glucose on the other iPhone and sign in with the same account. Confirm that supported glucose history and medication records appear before removing the old device.

  4. Review device-specific settings

Recheck units, reminders, device connections, report templates, Apple Health permissions, and other preferences. These may remain local rather than syncing with your account.
