How can we help?

Answers to the most common questions about logging readings, connecting devices, reports, and your subscription. Still stuck? Contact us.

Tap the blue + button on the History screen, choose Glucose, and enter your value. You can adjust the date and time, add a note, and tag the reading (for example Before Meal, After Meal, or Fasting). Tap Save and it appears in your log right away. You can also log insulin, medications, carbs, weight, blood pressure, A1C, and ketones from the same + menu.

Open the Connect Sensor screen from Settings and choose your device. Glucose supports a range of Bluetooth meters and continuous glucose monitors (CGMs). Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your iPhone and that your meter is in pairing mode, then follow the on-screen steps. Once paired, new readings can sync into your log automatically.

Estimated A1C is derived from the average of your logged glucose readings over a period, using the standard formula that converts average glucose to an estimated A1C percentage. The more readings you log across different times of day, the more representative the estimate becomes. Estimated A1C is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for a lab test ordered by your doctor.

Go to the Create Report screen, choose the date range and the data you want to include, and export as CSV or PDF. You can share the report directly from your iPhone by email or any app that accepts files. This makes it easy to bring a clear summary of your readings, insulin, and trends to your next appointment.

Yes. When you enable Apple Health in Settings, your entries can flow into HealthKit automatically so everything stays connected with the rest of your health data. You control exactly which categories are shared. You can turn the integration on or off at any time from Settings, or from the Health app under Sources.

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through your App Store account, so billing and cancellation are managed there rather than inside Glucose. On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select Glucose to change or cancel your plan. Apple's guide walks through the steps: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039

Open Settings and turn on reminders to be prompted to log readings, take medications, or check in at the times that work for you. Make sure notifications are allowed for Glucose in your iPhone Settings under Notifications so reminders can reach you.

Open Settings and choose your preferred glucose unit. Glucose supports both mg/dL and mmol/L, and switching updates how your readings, averages, and charts are displayed throughout the app. Existing entries are converted automatically, so you never lose data when you change units.

Your health data is yours. Glucose is built to keep your information private, and any Apple Health data stays under your control through HealthKit's permission system. For full details on what is collected and how it is handled, see the privacy policy at https://www.glucoseforiphone.com/privacy and the App Store privacy labels on the Glucose listing.

If your entries are synced with Apple Health or your account, install Glucose on the new iPhone and sign in or re-enable Apple Health to bring your data across. When setting up a new device, restoring from an iCloud or encrypted backup also carries your app data over. If anything looks missing after the move, reach out and we'll help you get it back.
